Here you will find some basic etiquette and FAQ for massage sessions.

Head Massage

 

  • I am here to treat you with respect, dignity and consideration.  Proper draping will be used at all times.
  • All personal information will be given complete confidentiality.
  • Upon your arrival, I will discuss the therapy you are here for prior to your treatment and answer any questions you may have.
  • This is a professional therapeutic massage – any inappropriate behavior, sexual or otherwise, will result in immediate termination of the massage session. The client will pay the full session price and be asked to leave immediately.

Arrival Time For Appointment
Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early prior to the start of any session.  If you are arriving for your first session with Breit Touch, please arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to the start of your session to allow sufficient time to fill out the Health Intake Form.  Arriving early will allow us to discuss what you are looking for in that day’s session as well as update any information on your health intake form if needed.

Appointments and Payments
I accept appointment requests by email and phone. Services are paid for at the time they are rendered.  Payments acceptable at this time are cash, check, and credit/debit cards.  Please see the Service Pricing page for further information on payments.

Communicating during your Massage
Please let me know if you need a change of pressure, music, room temperature or lighting. This will only make your treatment more beneficial and will not hurt my feelings. It is your choice if you would like to talk during the treatment or remain quiet – whichever suits your mood – both can be therapeutic!

What if I need to cancel or arrive late to my appointment?
As a courtesy to other guests and myself, kindly cancel or reschedule your appointment 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged a cancellation fee or for the full appointment time. Please note that for late arrivals I can only provide service for the remaining time scheduled. You will be charged for the full time reserved and the appointment time will end as scheduled.

What health conditions should I disclose when making and before my appointment?
I need to be informed if you are pregnant, have any skin irritation, infections and/or injuries. Please be aware that if you are have high blood pressure or a heart condition, services that involve the application of heat are not advised.  However, massage is contraindicated with any non-controlled health condition, such as high/low blood pressure, diabetes, etc., & will need to be cleared with your doctor before any massage can be given.

What do I wear during my treatment?
I am a trained professional and will drape you discreetly and protect your privacy at all times.  I am best able to provide you with the best massage I can give when I am able to feel the skin. Traditionally most treatments are done wearing no clothes (undergarments are usually worn), though you may dress down to your comfort level, even if that means receiving the massage fully clothed.  Some treatments however (e.g. Sports massage, CranioSacral), are given while fully clothed.

Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes!  Same rates apply for gift certificates as indicated on the Service Pricing page.

What is the gratuity policy?
My services do not include gratuities, nor are they required. Gratuities may be given at your discretion in appreciation for a wonderful service. The average gratuity for massage is 15-20% of the treatment price.
